What is the one thing you would wish for, if you were stranded alone in a deserted island? Many today would wish for a mobile phone with credit. The adventurous ones would wish for a FedEx package. I would wish you great grace and perfect peace – from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. That is all man has been designed to live on. No difficulty has ever come up which the Grace of God was not sufficient for. And no disturbance has ever been fomented which the Prince of Peace cannot quiet. Because God is faithful to His compassionate nature and He can be trusted not to let you be tried beyond your strength of resistance and power to endure – 1 Cor 10:13 AMP.

When Paul faced his greatest trial and prayed to have the thorn in his flesh removed, God refused. He was offered another remedy called Grace. Grace was prescribed to him because God said it is sufficient against any danger and enables one to bear the trouble manfully. So should one suffer then? No, they will not because His strength and power are made perfect, fulfilled and completed most effectively in your weakness. After Paul had gone through this major dose of Grace, he started to take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses – 2 Cor 12:8-10. He had realized that `when I am weak, then I am strong. ` No wonder He started all his books with the greeting Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

This same Paul, did not even have a chance to meet the one who calmed the stormy seas with three words `Peace, be still`. The one who promised in this world you shall have trouble. Yet commanded that we shouldn`t loose our good cheer. What manner of man is this, who promises us trouble yet commands us to be of good cheer? He is the Prince of Peace. Who used His Peace to still a stormy sea.Who said My Peace I leave with you. His Peace. Not the peace the world gives. His own Peace. The One that passes all understanding. If the ones in the boat had kept their minds stayed on Him, He would have kept them in perfect peace – Isaiah 26:3

Your worldly storms can be stilled with His perfect peace today. His grace can be prescribed to you in abundance, so that the Great Grace of Acts 4:33 may dwell in you richly. I have told you these things so that in Him you may have Perfect peace and Great grace.
