Whenever a deaf person gets healed, they scream and block their ears because there is too much noise. What would a blind man do, who gets back his sight? Will he say there is too much light to see? Yet that will be our experience when we finally behold the Kingdom of Light – Heaven. We will have come to where Light lives. Not the place where light comes from, but where Mr. Light Himself resides. God is Light – 1 John 1:5. Because this Light is God, it does more than just provide illumination. It comes with Life within it. It is more for life-giving than for sight-seeing.
This Light is Life. This Light has Life. This Light lit up His only begotten son to be the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world – John 1:9. In Christ was life, and that life was the light of men – John 1:4. The Father vested His Light and His Life into one man – the man Jesus Christ. No man can walk in light unless he has been lit-up by this True Light. And no one can live the Life unless He has His Life. For even as the Father has life in Himself and is self-existent, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and be self-existent – John 5:26 AMP. He is the true Light who bears within him the true Life.
We have been lit-up by this True Light, if indeed we have received Him in our heart. Now we have the Life and the Light; the Life that is the light of men. And this Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it – John 1; 4-5. This means if there are any dark grey areas in our life, we can confuse it away by blasting the Light through it. We just say “in me is the Life and that Life that is the light of men. So Life, light up my career. Life, light up my business. Life, light up this situation. Let there be Light. “ With our Daddy as the Father of Lights and our savior the True Light, we have the power to light up our world. Because His Light was given for our Living – Eph 1:18 AMP.
