THE KINGDOM TEACHING Series – Part 3
In the KINGDOM SERIES, we have been drawing parallels between the temporal earthly kingdoms and the eternal heavenly kingdom of GOD. In our last article, we saw how the new king of ZULU KINGDOM mirrored the teachings of KING JESUS – you can still read it by clicking here. In this edition, we shall take some biblical learnings from the UNITED KINGDOM with the passing of QUEEN ELIZABETH. In the next article, we shall look into biblical truths from the crowning of the new King – “KING CHARLES the 3RD”
The most prophetic event of our generation
As soon as Queen Elizabeth passed on, the heavens opened with torrential rain and as the flag lowered to half-mast a RAINBOW appeared at her place of death and also back at her official residence. She had just celebrated her Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service on the throne. When the history of our times is written, we shall look back at the death of Queen Elizabeth and wonder how come we missed to link the dots between these three powerful events, namely
- The RAINBOWS above her Palaces
- Her 70-year reign
- The Jewish Torah reading of the week [that she passed] was about the RAINBOW
Before we try to link the above dots, we have to bear in mind that PLANET EARTH runs on a software whose back-end is controlled in PLANET HEAVEN as written in Heb_11:3 that “through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. This is echoed in Rom 1:20 that “from the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what he made. As a result, people have no excuse at all!
The key to the links starts from the END-TIME PROPHECY of JESUS in Mat 24:37-39 that “When the Son of Man comes again, it will be exactly like the days of Noah. In the days before the flood, people were eating, drinking, and getting married until the day that Noah went into the ship. They were not aware of what was happening until the flood came and swept all of them away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes again.”
What was the most significant sign from heaven after the FLOOD OF NOAH? It was a RAINBOW. In the rest of this teaching, we will be joining links of her reign to conclude that…
…in the “first” days of NOAH, GOD send the rainbow AFTER the flood. In the “second” days of NOAH which we live in, GOD has sent the rainbow BEFORE the waters of end-time- judgment floods the earth.
What is the meaning behind a rainbow?
After the flood abated and NOAH’s sacrifice was accepted, GOD replied with the RAINBOW COVENANT and stated in Gen 9:16 that “the RAINBOW shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.” So basically, we can get three things from this agreement about a rainbow
a. It’s a sign from GOD [ and not weather conditions]
- Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, …
b. A proof of GOD’s covenant with the world
- Gen 9:13 I am putting my bow in the clouds. It will be the sign of my covenant with the world.
c. A reminder that judgment by flooding will not be repeated
- Gen 9:15 I will remember my promise to you and to all the animals that a flood will never again destroy all living beings.

Having laid the above foundation, we will now be able to easily understand the biblical parallels we will be unpacking under the following 7 headlines

Bible lesson#1 – Three rainbows appear over 2 palaces
Rainbows appeared at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace after Queen Elizabeth’s Death. At Windsor Castle, a rainbow arched over the grounds just as the Union Jack flag began to be lowered and meanwhile, back in London, an impressive double rainbow was captured by mourners gathered at Buckingham Palace, after a statement announcing the Queen’s death had been placed at the gates.
As we saw already above, GOD said in Gen 9:17 that “when the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between me and all living beings on earth. That is the sign of the promise which I am making to all living beings.” If we look at this with the lens of the New Testament, we can say the GRACE and MERCY OF GOD towards the world is brought to mind as was stated in Tit 2:11-13 that “God has revealed his grace for the salvation of all people. That grace instructs us to give up ungodly living and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this world, as we wait for the blessed Day we hope for, when the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ will appear. “
The rainbows remind us that Altar of MERCY which was installed by the vicarious sacrifice of KING JESUS is still open for ALL NATIONS to come and partake. It is like the angelic herald when Christ was born, when heaven announced “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” Luk 2:14
KING JESUS has used the Queen’s death to extend His goodwill towards man in this dying hour of our age. Will man heed or will he hide?
Bible lesson#2 – A rainbow in the weekly Torah reading
Each week Jewish people read a portion from the Torah and an accompanying passage from the Prophets known as the “Hafterah”. The week that the Queen died, the Hafterah was from Isaiah 54:1-10 and concluded with these RAINBOW words of Isa 54:9 -10 that “…in the time of Noah I promised never again to flood the earth. Now I promise not to be angry with you again; I will not reprimand or punish you. The mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace.” So says the LORD who loves you.
This timing of this speaks to those who would say that we are trying to force spiritual matters into a natural event – and that a rainbow happens every other day, so why would this be any different. The question now is – what if it is not a coincidence but something actually planned by GOD.?
If it is a sign planned by GOD, then I would do what the Jewish CHABAD website teaches that, “upon seeing a rainbow in the sky, we should recite the following blessing:”
Blessed are You, Lord our G‑d, King of the universe, who remembers the covenant, and is faithful to His covenant, and keeps His promise.
The passing of the RAINBOW Queen was a Covenant reminder. Will we send back a message to Heaven or will we ignore it?
Bible lesson# 3 – The colonial sins of the British Empire
Many used the opportunity of her death to bring to memory the colonial injustices which were committed as the British empire expanded globally. One political party in South Africa went viral as it listed the injustices done by the Crown in Africa and ended with the words “we do not mourn the queen because “she’s a representative of a crown which was built on the back of slaves, which was built on the blood of people, built on colonisation and it would be historically dishonest for us to mourn a person whose history is of colonising….” What bible lesson can we learn from this?
First of all, generational iniquity is part of the redemption that JESUS took care of on the cross. If generations present repent of the iniquities of the past, the sin is cleansed and the slate wiped clean by the BLOOD OF JESUS. What each generation should not forgot is as they judge others for their sinful past, they will be judged for their present sins.
This is what JESUS told those who complained to Him in Luk 13:3-5 about the Galileans whom Pilate had killed while they were offering sacrifices to God. Jesus answered them, “Because those Galileans were killed in that way, do you think it proves that they were worse sinners than all other Galileans? No indeed! And I tell you that if you do not turn from your sins, you will all die as they did.
JESUS is saying that no matter which direction injustice comes from, man will still account for his own personal life. The duty of the living is to REPENT for the sins committed in the past by previous generations so that the cycle of iniquity does not re-visit upon the new generation. And while we do this, not to forget to repent of our own sins, so that if we are caught in another misfortune, we do not perish like those who perished before us.
KING JESUS, is still preaching the same message He did while on earth that the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel – Mar 1:15
Bible lesson# 4 – The reconciliation after the death
The Queen went through trying times as her royal family was plagued with premature death, divorce and scandals. The last family drama involved the decision by her grandchild Prince to leave the Royal-fold with his wife to lead a private life in the USA. Upon her death, many wondered how their status will be handled in the coming reign of King Charles III. Will they drift even further away from royalty or will the Queen’s death bring about a reunion.?
This Bible has a beautiful verse of a death that brings about a reconciliation as pictured in Rom_5:10 which says “… when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
As the Royal House goes into a new life with a new king, may this verse speak that the passing of the Queen will bring about closer-unity and not further-division.
Bible lesson# 5 – The 70-year reign & Daniel’s 70th week
Students of end-time prophecy know the significance of the number 70 and its use by GOD in plotting divine timings and seasons. The curtain of our age will close with a 7-year period commonly referred to as “Daniel’s 70th week”. This last week is also known as “the Great Tribulation” as it full of divine judgments being meted on PLANET earth for refusing to repent. It will see the rise of the Anti-Christ and will end with the second coming of KING JESUS.
The sign of the beginning of this “last week of the world” will be the RAPTURE of the saints, when they are evacuated from the earth and into heaven. The 69 weeks have been accomplished and all who are watching for the start of this last 70th week.
If we consider the above in light of the RAINBOWs and JESUS’ statement that His coming will be like the DAYS OF NOAH, can we ignore the possibility that there could be a link with her 70 years on the throne? If so, then we have to ask ourselves two more questions?
- Did KING JESUS send a rainbow after her 70-year reign as a message for us to prepare for the 70th week.?
- Could it be that KING JESUS is warning us to escape 70th-week judgments by entering Noah’s Ark BEFORE the RAPTURE?
These are signs which are too potent to ignore.
It speaks to those who always wonder when is the world ending. Apostle Peter answered them using Noah’s flood in 2Pe 3:4-7 where he wrote “they say, “Jesus promised to come again. Where is he? Our fathers have died, but the world continues the way it has been since it was made.” But these people don’t want to remember what happened long ago. The skies were there, and God made the earth from water and with water. All this happened by God’s word. Then the world was flooded and destroyed with water. And that same word of God is keeping the skies and the earth that we have now. They are being kept to be destroyed by fire. They are kept for the day of judgment and the destruction of all people who are against God.”
Bible lesson# 6 – The Queen casts her crown at her King
There is an old story about Queen Victoria captured in a Christian devotional by A.J Pollock which states ;
ONE of the chaplains of her late Majesty, Queen Victoria, had been preaching on the Second Coming of the Lord, and afterward, in conversation with the preacher, the Queen exclaimed: ” Oh! how I wish that the Lord would come in my lifetime! “” Why,” asked the chaplain, ” does your Majesty feel this very earnest desire? The Queen replied with quivering lips, and her whole countenance lighted up by deep emotion-” I should so love to lay my crown at His feet.”
One of the signature signs of KING JESUS in the Bible is the presence of a RAINBOW either behind His Throne or around the CROWN on His head as we see in these three scriptures
- In Rev_4:3 – And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne,
- In Eze 1:28 – The brightness all around him looked like a rainbow in the clouds. It was like the LORD’S glory. When I saw it, I immediately bowed down…
- In Rev 10:1 – And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
KING JESUS appears with a RAINBOW at least thrice in the Bible, Queen Elizabeth dies and three rainbows appear above her palaces. Could it be that she fulfilled her ancestor’s wish to “cast the royal crown” at the feet of the KING OF KINGS, and JESUS send us a RAINBOW to confirm this fact.?
The late queen was very vocal about her faith in JESUS. At her coronation in 1953 she committed to upholding Protestantism as she received a Bible, with the words: “Our gracious Queen: to keep your Majesty ever mindful of the law and the Gospel of God as the Rule for the whole life and government of Christian Princes, we present you with this book, the most valuable thing that this world affords. Here is wisdom, this is the royal law, these are the lively oracles of God.”
Bible lesson#7 – “London bridge is down”, enter the Ark
Operation London Bridge (also known by the code phrase “London Bridge is down”) is the funeral plan for Queen Elizabeth II – from the announcement of her death, the period of official mourning, and the details of her state funeral. The plan was created as early as the 1960s and revised many times in the years before her death in 2022.
NOAH took many years to build the ARK in preparation for the coming judgment. How should we prepare to escape the 70th-week judgments now that the RAINBOWS have appeared and her 70-year reign has ended? We can also prepare meticulously to meet our KING OF KINGS, by following the example of NOAH written in Heb 11:7 that “…by faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.”.
How do we construct our ARK now that the London bridge is down? Again, we look to the Apostle Peter warning in 1Pe 3:20-22 where he wrote “they are like those who disobeyed long ago in the days of Noah when God waited patiently while Noah built the ship. In this ship a few people-eight in all-were saved by water. Baptism, which is like that water, now saves you. Baptism doesn’t save by removing dirt from the body. Rather, baptism is a request to God for a clear conscience. It saves you through Jesus Christ, who came back from death to life. Christ has gone to heaven where he has the highest position that God gives. Angels, rulers, and powers have been placed under his authority.”
From the above verses, we see that we enter the Ark today by receiving KING JESUS as our saviour and being baptized. Do it today, without much delay, because as we stated before that…
…in the “first” days of NOAH, GOD send the rainbow AFTER the flood. In these “second” days of NOAH which we live in, GOD has sent the rainbow BEFORE the waters of END-TIME judgment.
As JESUS used to say “If any man has ears to hear, let him hear”
